i dont think the PP announcement is anything other than standard operating proceedure from an ex auditor. Of course they are not going to come out and say EY have it wrong and try to distance themselves from abc.

As the announcement from abc the other day said, accounting is not 100% science (just ask the tax office) and the two auditors have a difference view.

I say get all the bad news out and lets start rebuilding! (oh and shoot eddie)
