Barbeques Galore Inc., a closely held retailer of barbeque grills and accessories in the US and Australia, filed for bankruptcy, citing a decline in home sales, a ``trigger'' for its grill sales.

``the general collapse of the market from home sales'' and the company's inability to borrow from its bank lender or from Ironbridge forced it to seek bankruptcy protection.
