Been doing more research on Boulder Steel and the finance is an interesting issue
Currently Boulder has close to 500million shares outstanding.
The finance needed for the expanded project would be minimal $1billion. To get 50% debt finance would be a miracle.
so the remaining $500million would need to be via equity. From its current share price .... say they can do new equity at 20cents...this is an amazing 3 billion shares oustanding. Now even if the company is worth $1 billion this is 33.3cents long term.
I am sure to attract large investors more "options" would need to be issued.
Now I am not disputing all the articles in regards to Boulder's development however the challenging issues are not raised.
All these articles talk about is "what could be". A fairy tale.
Ok some of you may ask me why bother to post on a stock that I do not hold...its because I know many friends who has purchased this stock in the past 12 months basing on its potential. All are now very nervous and scared. Also one of my broker made a buy claim in BGD...without solid research.
I advised them (my friends) to review their position. I am more than happy if the share price can go back up to 40cents ... which many of them entered at.
