ezydvd sews up reeltime asset deal

FOUR months after reneging on a partnership with now-defunct online film provider ReelTime, movie retailer EzyDVD has emerged with a core of the business for less than $200,000.

The Adelaide-based DVD retailer has bought all of the movie download equipment and systems from ReelTime's administrator, and will launch a new service under its own EzyDownload brand by September. The business will be run by former ReelTime chief executive Andrew Wilshire, with three other employees.
