Don't expect much from an announcement perspective until around mid-July.
Rang the company and spoke with John Geary yesterday as I had received a phone call from someone from GPN (NSW number) regarding the recent GPNOA new entitlement offer and couldn't get through to the return phone number left.
He told me that GPN had engaged a firm called Radar Investor Relations in NSW to follow up on the options entitlement with previous GPNOA holders that had not sent in their cheques. Deadline for the offer was extended until Monday 23 June 08 but only announced on market and not advised to each holder by mail. Geary said that they had some investors with "deep pockets" (his words) to take up some of the the shortfall of those not taking up the full entitlement offer.
He also told me that next announcement is not due on GPN until around mid-July being results of the recent airborne survey flown in NT.
YRR Vanadium results also not due out until around the same time although could be sooner as they are only waiting for the Geo to complete the report. Said that the resource upgrade should make the market stand up and take notice of what YRR has and should have a positive bearing on GPN.
