I am a shareholder, and despite all the negatives its not a disaster...
We are in an economy where we are coming out of a baby boom, facing a new period of high interest rates, high inflation, food, rent, services are all expensive...the need for dual household incomes is more and more becoming a MUST(if not already there)..
Where are we going to put the kids, so we can all work?
Whether these centres charged 50,60,70,80 a day...and with a govt forced to support childcare (because it pushed us to have kids)...I can't see the revenue stream stay flat or going down.. (unlike everything else
At $55 a day, they still cheap compared to MANY non ABC centres...they will be on $70+ before we all know it..and 55->70 is ?? 30%? ..
So I am with finch2 on this one...
