We tend to think less about BHP's South Flank Project, than the other two large iron-ore mining projects, because it was the first of the big-three's major projects to be announced.
MND today announced that it had been awarded a $104m additional construction contract at South Flank. The contract includes structural, mechanical, piping and electrical and instrumentation works associated with the project’s inflow infrastructure. Inflow here relates to groundwater seeping into the mine. An earlier related South Flank contract that MND won was for $108m. I doubt if there is anything there now for NWH, other than smaller contracts that may be suitable for RCR. I spent no time investigating what work packages remain to be awarded.
