You are making your own assumptions. Nothing in that extract suggests that FID will be delayed till December. You even went so far as to say that it might be delayed into 2020 due to delay in Arbitration... This notwithstanding that all and sundry have stated over and over... the Arbitration will have no impact on progress of SNE development. Now, all of a sudden SNE development and arbitration are tied to the hips. Nonsense..Senegal will not allow it. Of course CN will now say ministerial approval later in the 2019 year... let's not forget, she touted before end of 2018.. now look where we are... overreached again. Also this "later in the 2019" could be read in different ways..The statement was made in 2018 and at that time "later in the 2019 year" could mean anything from this moment on till the end of 2019. But you choose to spin it to suit your speculation and anything that differs from your legal opinion is incorrect.
I imagine there are many approvals that need to be put in place and FID is also only but one key point of many that still need to be ticked off. It would then only seem logical that Senegal provided sufficient time ( till 4 Dec) to get everything ticked off. IMO.. nothing to do with arbitration .. or in fact... a delay in FID. That is just your own speculation... WPL said FID mid 2019. I'd take WPL's word anytime before CN/FAr's because FAR have been over promising and under delivering constantly.. It is also for this very reason that I now suspect that CN is wary to make calls on a mid-2019 FID and be wrong once again... so,..to play safe, she's touting "later in 2019".Myfok
