Yesterday the announcement was for Gascoyne.
It boded well for us with increased work, in the short term at least, and reassurance the troubled project is still going forward (via the help of a cap raising doubling the number of shares)with the aim to reach the better grades ASAP.

Today’s news is over at Pilbara Minerals which reached commercial production (see here )
More relevant, perhaps to us, it also announced :
PILBARA MINERALS TO COMMENCE STAGE 3 PARTNERING PROCESS
Remember in January 2017, RCR won the $138 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract – for stage one works at PLS -two million tonnes per annum?
Now Pilganoora Minerals intends to find a partner by mid 2019 and then combine Stages 2 and 3 , boosting the capacity of the plant to 7.5 million tonnes PA.
“• Compelling Stage 3 Scoping Study on the proposed expansion of Pilgangoora to 7.5Mtpa, together with the partnering process being announced today, expected to support an optimised funding package for the combined Stage 2 and 3 Pilgangoora expansions.
• Recent A$50 million equity placement to Ganfeng provides immediate funds to support continued preliminary works for the Stage 2 expansion.”
This is possibly going to be good for NRW which was already involved in early works at Pilganoora before it purchased the mining technologies division of RCR .
For Stage 1 , a useful story in The West Australian

Stuart McKinnonThe West Australian

..”The engineering, procurement and construction contract will be staged subject to PLS making a final investment decision on the project and will have scope to increase to a maximum value of $148 million.
...
The scope of the work includes the 2mtpa processing plant, including wet and dry circuit with concentrator, associated plant and commissioning.
RCR said it would use its WA workshops to support and perform some of the fabrication required for the project...
....
PLS managing director Ken Brinsden said the terms of the EPC contract were extremely competitive.
“The combined experience of RCR, Primero and Minnovo has made for a very compelling offering,” he said.
“Primero’s experience in building and operating lithium plants, Minnovo’s design experience, and the construction capability of RCR ensures Pilbara will be well served.....”
Etc.
