Lo its sad the number of unhelpful things AVQ has done over the years.
Well not AVQ, but people in its employ. Things that ASIC and other regulatory bodies both in SI and Aust would be aware of and have on record.
Possibly events that happened before many of current readers here on HC. RM got into some physical altercation in a public restaurant/ bar in Honiara which resulted in posters placed in Honiara banning RM and all Axiom personal from ever entering the said premises. Sadly the even t even made it onto HC. Not a good look for AVQ. And not behaviour becoming of the CEO of a public Co.
Some of the public stoushes RM has got AVQ into have not done AVQ reputation nor public relations in the SI any favours imo. This was seen through the early years of the original high court case. Not good for short or long term public relations possibly evidenced today by the lack of landowners support at Kolosori in particular.
I don’t believe the most recent public stoush RM has engaged in with the current minister mines has helped AVQ current public image or political cause. This is evidenced by both the SI. Prime Minister and Ministers of Mines non attendance at the recent AVQ ground breaking event.
And to taunt ASIC as RM has just done is dangerous for AVQ. SI authoritiries would be aware of the current ASIC investigations into AVQ. Foreign embassy officials monitor and discuss such issues with their home state counterparts. Not good for AVQ in SI.
With an election pending who knows the outcome of party selection or what ministerial appointments and alliances will be forged as a result. What will remain in place after the election are the local family alliances within the local communities.
They will remember well or ill of everything that has been said and done on AVQ behalf by Antony involved with AVQ.
    Only time will tell.
Just look at the tradgedy of the past foreign company owners of the brilliant Gold Ridge project.
