If 'truth' means the way the world actually is, objective reality, as opposed to what the person believes about it, then rather than truth being relative, it is belief that is relative to truth. Someone may hold beliefs that are partly true, partly false in relation to some aspect of the world.....which care nothing about about the beliefs of humans.
