If you own a stock ... thou shall not bag ... just sounds like common sense to me .
If you have no faith in management or think the performance of the company is disappointing sell down or sell out , that simple , but relentless whinging is not going to improve your investment .
Share prices are affected by many factors mainly fundamental but also by Market sentiment for a particular Sector or Company .
Sentiment can be affected by information either private or public .
Newspaper articles , brokers "Puff Pieces " word of mouth rumours ( both true and false ) etc etc .
I put it back to you that you would have to believe in the Tooth Fairy to think that Social Media did not have some effect on sentiment .

Businesses throughout the world spend enormous amounts of money buying social media influence .

I am certainly not saying that the SP of companies can be manipulated by HC posts .Re read what I said .
