All the current offers and prices are off the table if Trump insults the Chinese in the trade talks and they retaliate as they have done previously by banning export of their REs. This is not impossible or even unlikely. The Japanese financially support Lynas for insurance against such a possibility and if it even looked like happening again all of the figures presently being used would have to be recalculated many multiples higher.
