In true McCarthyism style, he was called a traitor, a Russian spy and the mainstream media banned him and others who questioned the hoax from appearing on their channels.
Brit Hume, who is no Trump fan, said that “it is the biggest media debacle of my lifetime and I’ve been in the industry for 50 years”.
