Well, as a WES shareholder I hope they drop this and acquire a decent business.
With all the issues LYC have and Malaysian government seemingly not wanting them to operate there, I wouldn't be touching it.
But hopefully WES management know something I don't and see some non-apparent/obvious value.
The market seems to hate it also. WES down well over a billion in market cap today - funnily enough about the same amount they offered for LYC!!! The market has assessed this as a bad deal for WES and I'm inclined to agree in the absence of any more details.
I don't own LYC but if I did, I would be grateful WES has just given you a free kick higher.
