Nice find. Agreed. So prior research suggests that endotoxicity increased the severity of liver damage in some patients. It seems to me that IMM-124E is an indirect remedy to manage liver disease once diagnosed to have high levels of certain bug activity. IMM-124E may be more suited to long term drug use since its value will be to defer the expensive acute treatments of non-recurring treatment. It is clear that sales will be recurring rather than acute but that is probably all right from a revenue generating model perspective provided their patents cover that aspect. I wonder if IP protection is in part behind the delays in releasing information, or is it simply a lack of cash. I will have to go back and reread the results from the last IMM-124E study and recent presentations to see what the excitement was all about.
I do believe IMM should be in touch with Ritter regarding their RG formulation since it is possible that both will help to reduce further steatosis based liver damage and it would alleviate the risk of milk allergic reactions. Managing gut bacteria is probably of long term benefit for all major organs including colon, bowel, kidney, pancreas, etc. though a less expensive formulation designed for naturopath or vitamin supplement markets would be needed. Ritter is in Phase 3 so a collaboration might make a lot of sense to generate some sales and the benefit is to start with Ritter and then augment with Immuron formulation once safety is sufficiently proven for that market.
Does anyone know the difference between Travelan and IMM-124E ... just how different are they in terms of what has been processed by the cows. .
