why is this exciting? It’s just a filing for additional marketing approval....
i don’t think anyone ever said that MPCs didn’t work. It’s the inability to mass produce them at commercial scale. The continuous need for donors and screening due to inconsistency. MPCs will work well in small batches, but it’s the overall cost of treatment when compared with IPSC-MSCs that’s the real kicker.. and if we are being factual, IPSC-MSCs are actual more effective/potent if you look at the numbers.
We’ve been delayed... bit annoying, but not a fundamental problem, as is the case with bone marrow derived MSCs. It’s first generation, and fundamentally thats a problem.
