    The climate is changing and I agree how in the future no-one has a crystal ball-but one should have a plan for this . I dont think the best answer is throwing tons of money in the wrong direction and spooking the next generation and screwing up our energy markets and econmic growth prospects, and indirectly and unintendedly making the poor pay.

    Maybe the scarce environmental dollars and economic surplus would be better spent on addressing soil salinity, robust water supplies, reforestation, protecting endangered species, banning the use of agricultural oils and ethanol for car use -what a huge waste and destructive.
