I came across a 2006 report from the WA Govt water department I thought might be of intrest.
If you go to the link and search for 'speewah basin' it will bring up the report ' Groundwater resources of the east kimberly Tanami mineral province." (its Only 16 pages) also has quite a good geological map of the area.
Section 4.3.6 Speewah & Kimberly Basins states in part "There is potential for moderate groundwater supplies from fracture & joint structures with bore yields of up to 200kL/day.
