The CEO of Vale stated that "Total nickel inventory (warehouse and dark) peaked at about 815kt in late 2015". Follow the deficits since then and you should arrive at a true estimate of how much nickel (registered and hidden) is floating about. Anyway the conclusion is that the world needs more Nickel Sulphide deposits in the near future.
What matters is SGQ is commercial but the grade and resource size will determine how profitable.
