Indeed all the Defense schemes are now crap and intentionally so done by the government of that day and carried on by successive governments. The trouble for the polies is the DFRDB is on the same legislation as their own. So unless there is total nuclear war the DFRDB will continue. Its no big liablility though as there are not that many of us left now.
