After the assays are delivered to Luminex [ the industry standard ] there will be months of relative silence whilst they are trialled on the platform hopefully with cracking results.
The company have made you aware that 2021 is the timeline for a commercial test.
Of course anything could happen in the mean time. BD1 might take on a partner to distribute the test although my personal view is this will more likely happen once the trials are nearing completion and the risk has been removed from an partner perspective, ie positive trials on Luminex which will have in reality removed the last impediment for commercialising the tests.
I also hope they wait until they have at least some results as this will give them a position of greater strength when negotiating any deal.
But as I say its down the road aways.
I'm long term with BD1. That does not mean I won't trade to increase my holding which I have done and doubled the amount but I have the luxury of having bought in at .007.
