CGP is looking like a stock in play. It would be a good starter holding for Rio or another major wanting a strategic holding in SOLG and a 15% share of Cascabel. I believe that Newcrest and BHP are constrained in taking CGP unless they move to a full bid.
Solgold did move by the end of trading last night by 8.44% on the largest volume for a while. The accumulator/s weren't able to contain the price once enough buyers poured in.
We may see this with DGR today but an algorithm is operating trying to keep the range between 12 and 14. The 825 at the end of the 12 and 14 bids are a giveaway.
I make the NTA of DGR now 0.36 including unlisted subs and tenements and assuming Tribeca will convert notes to shares. There have been good rises in Solg and AJQ this week. AJQs amortised bonds are a great deal for DGR making a good contribution to their cashflow over the next few years although a much bigger cashflow will arise from a full or staged sell down of DGRs holding.
Today buyers of DGR will need to hit 0.14 to get any as the accumulator/s will fight to keep it at or below 0.135. Accumulators will keep selling part of their holding to keep the price down and can sap the will of private investors who follow market movements and not the long term fundamentals of a company. It will be an interesting battle
