Thanks all for the replies - much appreciated . I can report I finally called Telstra and after a few humorous attempts with the you know who " voice " …( did you say ??? groan ! ) got through to a very helpful young man in " disconnections " who promptly sorted everything and I even managed to sort him on where and what to in Botswana as it transpired its on his travel bucket-list ! I still stand by my comments / thoughts it is one of the more user unfriendly sites I have come across . I think these sites are now designed by young people for like minded, which is fine , however I sometimes wish these companies would provide a ' no frills ' page for us elder statesmen !
