Why do you look for problems where there are none? ALL of the ore is accessible from an open-pit. You can go down to 120-150m. You are right to consider u/g potential though. OC is not tested at depth at all. If the deposit is comparable to Smarts or Hicks but larger and of higher grade it could mean there is a significant orebody sitting below the open-pit ore, at least of the same size and of economic grade. It could make sense to skip mining some ore via open-pit if you are going to have an u/g mine later on anyway.
