Considering the fact that PB and 88e didn't know where to land the horizontal and weighed up the cost benefits of the plan as a JV would do, remembering PB is the Guru of unconventional shale plays, you're suggesting that it would have flowed regardless.
I doubt 88e shouted down PB in the change to a vertical due to the cost, if it was a guaranteed gusher.
How about consider for a minute that the HRZ will never flow any oil and 88e have made the correct decision to move on, as any company must do when faced with limited options.
