We had to take a rifle into the gun shop on Monday to have a new scope fitted. The owner was saying that one shop in NZ had put on 20 extra staff to keep up with sales. In fact, it was expected that NZ would have sold all its weapons this week and would be calling on Australian stock to satisfy demand. Good luck with controlling all those rifles. People aren't buying them to hand them back in to authorities.
