I spoke to a friend yesterday about this , his son is in New York flies for United & learned his trade as a bush pilot flying in the pilbarla & NewGuinea . The sort of flying that makes great pilots & his take on it was that there is nothing wrong with the plane as there is a great big red butto that you can push that hands the controls to the pilot who then flies the dam thing something he said that many piiots from places like Africa & Asia never really learn . They are computer operators with wings was his take.
