Page 26 of the presentation says it all.
So you would spend an additional $250-$270K (my calculation) for the ClearVue glass alone plus the extra cost of wiring them up, probably about $100-$150K just so you can save 11% on power and thats only the lights. At 0.28c a kWh for power off the grid not a real good payback time.
They also disregard the 40% saving on HVAC because the non ClearVue windows would already be Low E anyway, so that saving is there regardless.
The positive on page 26 is the size of the panels are 2.1 x 1.2 so they are 2.52m2. Hopefully they'll have one to display in Sydney that size.
I would have to say the outlay doesn't give a very good return/payback at all IMO.
I'll wait for Chippy's calculations on this as I'm sure they will be very positive and game changing.
