Here is the well known example of Prana being on the other side of a patent dispute where Greek pharma PN Gerolymatos held the patent for clioquinol for stomach bugs and Prana patented it for neurodegeneration for its metal chelating abilities. As I remember they called in the pharma for consultation and the pharma patented it as well. Maybe even first. Then Prana was in a dispute to register their IP. I guess that is where GK learned it is best to keep secrets till the patents are done.
GK was there then, so is no stranger to a dispute of this nature. Dianne Angus was also there when it was settled in 2004.

It has been known for some time that 8-OHQs can be effective against antibiotic resistant bacteria. As I posted above 2014:
