Do not agree or disagree with your opinions but isn't Indonesia or parts of it an example?The Balinese tolerate Islam, although speaking to Balinese friends there is a limit ie the morning call to prayer wont be tolerated but Hindu\Christians and muslims live quite happily together on the island.A great example of tolerance.I was there this year for Nyepi ( quiet day ) celebrations and great to see every religion joining together for a silent day of meditation and reflection.
