Thanks for the graphics @Seth Davis. I think I've read in one of your previous posts that you've actually walked the ground at Rupice. Is there anything at surface that suggests continuity from JB to Rupice Nthn Extn? I guess we'll find out soon from IP and then drilling but the company has said the rock assemblage at JB is the same as at Rupice and extends east of JB so possible strike length is in excess of 2 km.
I've been fascinated by discussion on how Rupice formed. Company management I spoke to would not speculate because of its polymetallic nature. Lately it has taken to describing Rupice as unique so it seems management has not been able to find a similar deposit. There are only about 125 SedEx deposits in the world so they are well known.
Here's a comment from the company in reply to my email: 'In response to your query asking if Rupice is a type of SedEx deposit the answer is a “guarded” no. It does not have some of the characteristics of SedEx, such as black shale hosted mineralisation, and Rupice is particularly rich in copper and gold which are not typically seen in SedEx. Brecciation and fluid movement/emplacement play a major role at Rupice, but as to its likely “style” we need a little more time to consider. Thanks for your interest.'
The geologist's report in the prospectus speculated on possible "theories" but would not commit.
My comments on Rupice have been that anything is possible and to be patient and wait for drilling - 20,000m this year - although I and others have pointed to Teck's Red Dog mine in Alaska as a type of high grade, large tonnage Zn, PB, Au etc example.
BTW, I have no experience/training in geology but keen to learn.
Exciting next 9 months followed by t/o 1st qtr 2020!
