If they are anything like my kids, then the best and most practical thing they can do is to turn off the lights when they leave a room.
I wonder how many of these kids are preparing to make the ultimate sacrifice by not getting a fossil fuel guzzling car, or is that too big a sacrifice to make when there is a cost to themselves?
How about petitioning their schools to turn off heating and air conditioning in their schools?
Or are they only interested in action when it doesn't affect them directly? Higher power costs obviously are paid by their parents so they are clueless to the realities of life.
