Rickshaws in India is an obvious target to me if they really want to make a difference.
I've been to India heaps and there's going to be a big problem with the conversion that I reckon will take 2 generations.
Buying a rickshaw for westerners would be regarded as cheap. To Indians it's not.
And from what I've read the ev rickshaw cost is off the map.
Put it this way. Even though I used drivers in India I would just go and hop in a rickshaw sometimes. There's something more cultural about it.
You'd go cruising around looking for a restaurant. Maybe for 25 minutes. $2
If the EV rickshaw is indeed expensive then I can't see anyone moving over quickly.
I guess they could ban new sales of petrol rickshaws. But those things run forever.
