This is UNIQUE GEOLOGY and the company knew that yet kept drilling.
Apparently via another posters info, JP said (and who’s to know if true or untrue but it fits the lack of info forthcoming), that they are having issues with drilling, but again are still persisting, wouldn’t U pull the drill if U weren’t finding something decent at these depths ???
Was that I also read that they will be Ann in a few weeks. AGAIN if U were concerned about market performance and had good stuff happening in this hole wouldn’t U publish ?
So what happened to the sp last time they did this ?
Obviously someone took it upon themselves to gap this up several times which was always going to get an ticket at some stage and then, well it’s tanked, and on what info?
NOTHING really except the time being taken to drill this hole THAT THEY KEEP DRILLING.
What are the main reasons for drilling issues ?
There are many in the oil world, and the reasons there are often depth related, but we are not THAT deep. We are perhaps drilling with a crew that usually drills to what, a few hundred meters thru what U would call easy peasy strata. Now give them twice the depth, and for want of a better pun-phrase, they may be out of their depth, BUT THEY KEEP PERSISTING.
Now for one, I hope the drillers were selected with this increased depth in mind as from all our research, and from that Assay item, THEY KNEW THIS POTENTIAL FOR GREATER DEPTH MAY EXIST. Correct me if my assumption isn’t right here.
The old adage comes to mind here, “expect the best but prepare for the worst “.
I keep coming back and asking, “ why keep drilling “
Is it just to save face ?
I don’t know of too many companies that would waste funds on “ saving face “
Then the other day I’m doing a less than thought provoking job at work and got to think conspiracy theories around THAT hole no 2.
I’m sure Billy will like this, and the reason for me posting this when I’m posting it is so that the gappers can’t use this to play their game, and to provoke a bit of CONSTRUCTIVE discussion.
Now apart from the logical reason that the company doesn’t want to get burnt again with the vagaries of pump and dump, which given managements reputation doesn’t really fit them for a blame angle, as I say, my mind started to wander to conspiracy.
Assuming they are chasing this hole becos they are actually finding something that confirms their model as per the Munk item in this unique geology, which isn’t so easy to drill, funny bout that, given there could be some pretty tough but permeable rock down there, which is not easy to drill in many cases, and they will be extra careful with their observations and analysis to prove this data and that it fits their model, don’t forget hydrothermal feeders are only a strongish suspect in these high Li-low impurities grades, is yet to be proven, and we are in the most prospective salar basin for these source conditions and MANY will be watching, there may, just MAY be other reasons for the company to be keeping mum about these hole 2 results, if Ur getting my drift.
My apologies for the long winded sentence but it goes with the train of thought.
So what if, and let’s not get carried away with circumstantial thinking and turn it to fact, they have indeed found a Holy Grail of Li geology of closely associated hydrothermal feeders into ignimbrite permeated Li at depth.
Where does that put them on the world Li radar ?
At current MC very very very exposed imho.
And I’ll leave it at that for anyone to chime in and wreck my circumstantial logic, if one could call it that.
But please try to be constructive in commenting on the above and perhaps clarifying any of this with evidence to the positive or contrary.
Pissing down here in Sydney town atm. Wish I could pump some out to the country people lacking the stuff atm. We have no probs compared to our country folk. Don’t know how they do it.
