Many people think there is a contradiction in the typical Conservative being both economically liberal and socially conservative but I can assure you that socially conservative policies reduce family breakdown and thereby reduce drugs and crime and make economically liberal policies more viable. Both aspects together eliminate to a large degree the requirement for law enforcement and re distributive government policies. It is also important to note that socially conservative policies do not actually require government action and enforcement, they were historically social controls implemented at the church and community level and worked best by excluding from the communities those that refused to follow the moral codes.

The traditional western right winger (economically liberal, socially conservative) is the absolute alpha when it comes to the evolution of the citizen and it will not be surpassed. Western left-wingers typically reject the social bonds that hold socially conservative policies in place leading to increased divorce, abortion, sexually liberal behaviour, drug abuse and a lack of any meaning in life. Then they seek to destroy the economically liberal policies in order to redistribute the wealth to deal with the consequences of the descent into degeneracy and family breakdown.

you do realise conservatives in Germany voted in the nazis with 44 % of the vote, social democrats (German version of the Labour Party) a distant second and the communists and minor parties way behind. The nazis were backed by newspaper barons, big business and ran a scare campaign about the communists, as a result of the red scare the people were willing to go with a strong leader and give up some freedoms, little did they know how much freedom they were giving away.
