"For a month now, the Superintendency of the Environment (SMA) has been investigating the operations of the Southern Gold mining company in Aysén. The company, controlled by Australia's Equus Mining, is driving the Los Domos gold project in the Ceballos sector near Chile Chico, in the Jeinimeni River binational area."

I find it difficult to believe that drilling operations continued to occur in parallel to this investigation which apparently started in December. Let's see the date stamp of the request to cease mining operations because those requests aren't made over the phone.
