Gee seems (avid watcher of air crash investigation shows) so many heavy people carriers have crashed because of those pitot tube speed censors...i dont know but possibly it's the single biggest very specific cause of death in passenger planes....they need to mandate airspeed to be registered only as an average of 5 of them..if one gets blocked then the speed reading will only be impacted by 1/5th at any point in time.
