Another thing to consider is that most of the demand extrapolation is based on fairly linear EV uptake modelling. Modelling which year after year proves to be pretty heavily underestimating growth.
EV uptake can quite possibly be parabolic and follow trends like smartphones more than traditional vehicle uptake. If that happens the main bottleneck will be Nickel supply (indeed Nickel supply looks set to be a bottleneck with the current models unless incentive prices kick in pretty soon)...
