I appreciate the response to my brief NZ rant. What I was trying to say was that it isn't the land of milk and honey (another success story!) that many have a mental picture of. You have to work darn hard to make things work in such an isolated and high cost environment. People do it tough there and success does not come easy. This is what I think has given A2 its core, its heart.
The advantage of NZ is that great ideas can be given a time to gestate, while in Australia there seems to be a pressure to jump out of the blocks. BAL is an example of this. Great idea, badly managed. I often think of Split Enz/Crowded House - a quirky super creative outsider band slowly ventures out into the big wide, and uses Australia as its springboard (and picks up a few Aussies on the way)
A2M began with an exceptional set of circumstances and the political atmosphere to be able to develop. The early zealousness (and litigation) got everyone offside. (At least they shook things up, and got noticed). But when Geoff arrived from Oz with his international industry experience a sensible plan was laid out to grow. And grow. ($3 party? Mark06, even Pros?) These three years have been eventful and unbelievable, way beyond any expectations. Compare the yearly balance sheets of A2 and BAL and the figures astound. One amazing, one botched. Just where we go from here, where we'll be in three years time is anyone's guess. I'd love to hear some extrapolations. One thing...every time someone named a figure in 2016 the SP walked through it to a new level. $3 was a dream, $5 was a reality. Then $8. Then $13.78. Then JH...ok I won't go there.
And finally all that shorting volatility and downramping seems to have finally dissipated. I wonder...
My only very minor concern affecting SP is the number of shares. A share buyback might have been in order but I'm not aware of any such plans. But in general I've not ever been so relaxed (complacent?) with this stock as I am now. Just keep doing what you're doing A2M
