Sorry, Rocket, but latest EV 4x4s are far superior at water crossings and salt mitigation than ICE 4x4s because engines and batteries are completely sealed. And as for grunt, any EV kills an ICE and can pull a load better too. Take a look at the new Rivian specs and it makes the mullet wearing rev heads in their V8 Landcruiser's look like latte sippers. And I doubt that you'll be doing 600 kms on Frazer Island on your weekend trip.
