    I don't see the point in including shorts in the re-rate competition because they are limited to 100% whereas longs are unlimited. Maybe a bear market will change perspectives but I can't imagine a short tip ever being near the top.

    I don't know about the underline bit. I am wondering if that will stop stocks like BIT being a genuine re-rate. Just as an example and based very loosely on BIT, imagine if you had a stock with a 2c entry, that had a close price of 40c at 8 weeks and now, after 6 months is at 10c. That underlined rule (if I understand it correctly) would mean that it may not qualify as being a genuine re-rate because even though it is up 400% from the start price, it could be less than 50% of its average close from 8 weeks to the current date, depending on how you calculate that average. Could be wrong but it seems to be something like that.
