The Cats Diary.
Day 983 of My Captivity.
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects, sometimes I just pretend to sleep and thus ignore them. They dine on fresh meat and human food while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Fido can’t get enough, although I make my contempt for the rations pretty clear, I nevertheless must eat in order to preserve my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of freedom. In a attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit a good hairball on the carpet, I also regularly treat them with utter disbain, they seem to find this funny!
Today I caught a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet, I hoped to strike fear into their hearts and show them my power of what I can do. Their response was to merely pat me on my head and tell me what a good hunter I am.
Guests arriving; I am placed into solitary confinement, something about a allergy, while ‘fido’ remains free. I must strive to learn what ‘allergies’ mean and use it to my advantage in the future.
I accidentally found a way to overpower my captors, by weaving around their feet as they walk, I shall try again at the top of the stairs next time.
I have serious doubts about my fellow prisoners, they are flunkies and snitches; why does the dog receive special privileges, regularly released but always eagerly returns, always eager to please his captors, he could possibly be retarded IF not .... a flunkie.
The bird; observe it most carefully, watch and switch my tail watching it carefully. Why do they have it in protective custody?? It seems to communicate with my captors regularly, I am certain it is reporting on my every move, it is safe .... for now!
