* Road 617 (green) rehab currently done to Mitwaba and aim is to reach Manono end of this year with works usually starting at the end of the current wet season. The road will later be paved which is supposedly covered in the US$285 mil project.
* Manono itself is getting bitumen as we speak.
* Manono-Kitanda project (yellow). Connects Manono to rail. Confirmation of this came from a response to giantpaperclips questions to Antenne du Katange de l'Agence Congolaise des Grands Travaux. They replied,
"for this year 2018 it is planned that the works will reach the city of Mitwaba as far as road works are concerned. during the next dry season, the contractor will continue towards Manono. In Manono there is currently the start of the works of the road for about ten kilometers. there is also construction work on a paved road that will connect Manono-Kitanda and Ankoro. About the connection between mitwaba and Likasi via bu, keya ey kyubo, only provincial road 617 is currently passable. but there is also the provincial road 618 that leaves by minga on the Kasenga road. it lacks some bridge for its traceability in addition to its pavement which is broken."
Confirmation that it will also be paved in bitumen like road 617.
* Kabondo Diando-Mukwende (red). New project. This will then join to the Road 617 project and provide another path toward Manono. (

* No details on the path east (blue) to the lake that was detailed in the SS although I did have a stab at working out the path here (
