The partnership will see a 40,000 tpa lithium ion battery precursor plant and a 40,000 tpa cathode plant being constructed within China over the next 18 months. Both are being installed with a capacity expansion to 100,000 tpa each in mind.

I believe Chinese will take it over, but when and at what price?

Currently lithium sector is at temporary bottom, might be similar to where iron ore price was smashed down to A S$30s. If Chinese companies are smart (which I believe they are), they would take actions at the bottom of the cycle, imo.
