The current lithium production and even the production that is due to happen in the next year or three will not be able to keep up with the demand. I'm not ' forgetting' anything - once the lithium powered vehicles becomes acceptable or should I say more widely accepted the demand is insatiable and people really don't yet grasp the magnitude of this change let alone the implications for other nations if they are not able to access lithium carbonate and lithium batteries which are pretty much controlled and manufactured all in China at this stage. Whilst getting lithium is not a difficult task to actually produce battery grade lithium is extremely difficult and I don't think you understand that
