That was me. My quick read was the it needs to be in top 39 for 6 months prior on weighted average. So no point anyone looking at the current top 50 MC. Need weighted average MC over 6 months. A bit of work, but can be done manually with spreadsheet and downloaded trade data.
If you look at changes to the top 50, they don't happen very often due to that buffer rule. It would be pain for funds, ETF's, instos and the like if there were big changes every quarter.
