Why would you feel duped when the republican president is doing or trying his best to do most of the things you approve of?
I would, on the other hand, feel more than duped if the democrat candidate from the universally discredited Clinton Foundation had been elected, or in seeing the Trojan soldiers the democrats had brought forth out of Minnesota and Michigan, or in seeing the stumbling wreck of a woman they had once again put in charge of the House.
