Am I totally mis-reading this capital raise? I fully agree that it's good to have the raise completed, but to me the purpose of the raise calls for anything but the euphoric optimism I've read here over the past few days.
In my post in the Trading Halt thread I drew attention to the gems hidden deep in the Prospectus relating to the CP. Has anyone else read section 5.6 - Litigation? Or any of the sub-sections: 'Claims by CIP and CPS'; or 'Creditor's Statutory Demands'; or 'Defender Fund No. 2 - Default Notices and Forbearance Deeds'? Did anyone else wonder what was behind the recent board changes, now explained in the Prospectus?
With 2 exceptions, the issues detailed in the Prospectus have raised no eyebrows here at all. As wolfofbridgest commented, "Looks like a change of control transaction is playing out right before our eyes". Or as Key Sole commented, ". . . it suggests Defender have got them by the balls". Aside from those comments there's been no other reaction whatever on the issues hidden in plain sight in the Prospectus.
Have I come in as a shareholder too late to be aware of issues that everyone else is familiar with and considers to be non-events? Or are we three the only ones who are mis-reading the Prospectus?
