I fully agree with everything you said. They have licenses without permits and have done nothing to create traction or proof of concept. So they are buying unbranded raw cannabis oil from Medipharm, importing it with PCI and then trying to turn into a gelcap (which so far no one has successfully managed to do) and then they are going to sell them through Stuart Washer's brand new startup (emerald clinics) which is another startup with zero traction. The existing medical clinic networks (Cannvalate, Cannabis Access, etc) won't touch their "home brew" cannabis with a barge pole. We are really clutching at straws here!
